Lauro Mediterranean Kitchen pioneered fine dining on Southeast Division Street in Portland. In its nine-year run, Lauro became a neighborhood icon, drawing diners from around the corner to around the region. It also planted a seed for the eventual flowering of the city’s latest restaurant row.
We designed this modern logo to blend with the interior design of the warm yet industrial space. The mark directly reflects Chef David Machado’s use of bay leaf as a complementary seasoning in all the dishes.
Chef Machado decided to focus on other ventures. But we still love the timeless identity we created for Lauro Mediterranean Kitchen.
